I spied this composition as  walk near the cabin we were staying at 
in Sylvania Wilderness. I tend to be undaunted in my quest to paint what inspires. But perhaps I should have been a bit more careful before deciding. The memory which looms as I remember the painting session that afternoon is that the mosquitoes were ravenous!
